Thinking about citizenship? Then you’ll need a medical examination performed by a Certified Civil Surgeon. That's where we come in!
The exam entails a review of your medical history, a full physical exam, vaccinations if needed, a blood and urine test, and a skin test to check for tuberculosis. When your evaluation is complete, both you and your doctor will sign a form called the i-693. If you are using an interpreter, they’ll need to sign the form, too. Your form will be given to you in a sealed envelope to give to your lawyer or USCIS immigration official.
How long will it take? Well, that’s up to you, really. But, in most cases, we can have that sealed envelope in your hands as quickly as 48 to 72 hours.
